Mandatory bicycle lock
You are obliged to lease a bicycle lock of one of the following types with an o2o lease bicycle:
minimum security class ART2 type U,
security level 10,
a Hiplok DXC bicycle lock, inspection level Sold Secure Diamond.
So put this type of lock on the offer as well. On top of that, the lock should allow you to anchor your bicycle to an external object. Your bicycle dealer will be happy to help you make the right choice.
Is one lock not enough and do you need a second lock to enable anchoring? Then you can lease a second lock and put this on the offer as well.
Ownership and insurance
Your lease bicycle remains the property of o2o during the entire lease period and our insurance company requires you to put one or more lock(s) on the offer, so you can lock the bicycle safely at all times.
Authorised accessories
You can add various options and accessories to your lease bicycle at an attractive price. Important to know: an accessory for a lease bicycle is permitted if it is necessary for cycling to and from work. Here are a few examples of accessories that customers often choose:
GPS
Bicycle alarm
Bicycle bag
Lighting
Bell
Pedals
Helmet
Rainwear
Fluorescent vests
Extra charger
Extra battery
...
This is just a selection of the options available. Do you have another accessory in mind that is not on this list? Feel free to add it to your quote.
Non-authorised accessories
Non-bicycle-related accessories: such as a mounting stand or bicycle rack for the car, headphones, sports watch, etc.
Spare parts such as bicycle tyres or a repair kit. Anything related to the maintenance or repair of your bicycle can be purchased with the service budget once your bicycle is delivered.
Second wheel set: this is not allowed by law and is seen as a hidden 'Benefit in kind'. Upgrades are allowed: for example, you can lease a different wheel set, such as a carbon wheel set, to replace the original wheel set.
Please note: once your contract is started, it is not possible to add additional accessories. So find out well in advance so you know exactly what accessories you need.
