Have your number plate annulled within 14 days after your contract expires, to avoid additional costs.
There are two options:
Option 1: You take over the speed pedelec
Get your number plate annulled and re-register your bicycle. Find out the easy way how below. 👇
Step 1: Get the number plate annulled
o2o is holder or owner of your current number plate, so our name is also on the registration certificate. As such, go to DIV Brussels yourself or bring the number plate in to Bpost for annulment. Please note that there is a disposal fee (€17.99).

How can you return the number plate in person?
Go to the head office of the DIV in Brussels (Rue du Progrès 56, 1210 Brussels). You do not have to make an appointment. Deposit the number plate (unpackaged) in the collection box at the entrance. This collection box is accessible on working days, Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Step 2: Re-register the bicycle
Register the bicycle back in your own name and apply for a new number plate. Check the website of the Federal Government which provides practical information on what you have to do. You can find this info under the section How to register a used vehicle.
Option 2: You return the speed pedelec to o2o
Step 1: Leave the number plate on the bicycle
When our partner picks up your speed pedelec, leave the number plate on the speed pedelec. Then also hand over the 2 original parts of the registration certificate and the original certificate of conformity (COC) with it.

Step 2: Return the bicycle
Our pickup partner will send you an email to make a pickup appointment. On the day our partner arrives at your door, make sure you follow all the steps below. 👇
Also hand over your number plate and all necessary documents and chargers, keys, lock, accessories and code (Stromer) to avoid extra costs.
Return the bicycle in good condition. Still have maintenance budget left over? Then use it to have your lease bicycle put back in perfect condition by your bicycle dealer. That way, you avoid unpleasant surprises at the end of your lease. If the bicycle is not in perfect condition, there is a chance that we will not take it back.
