This depends on how you use your bicycle, the type of bicycle and how much you like to tinker with it yourself.
If you opt for a regular city bike, we recommend an annual maintenance budget of € 100 - € 150.
If you opt for an electric bike, we recommend a maintenance budget of € 175 - € 225 to maintain and/or repair your bike.
For a speed pedelec, we recommend an annual maintenance budget of € 200 - € 300.
Tip: be sure to set aside a sufficient maintenance budget, as you can also enjoy a tax benefit on this amount. This way, you will not be faced with any surprises.
What's more, you save your annual maintenance budget throughout the entire lease period.
If you have not used up your maintenance budget by the end of the first (or subsequent) year of your lease contract, the remaining budget will be added to the maintenance budget for the following year.
