No, of course not! With the personal contribution, you pay a one-off amount to o2o, if your employer allows this (you can find this in the bicycle policy). This reduces the monthly rental price and makes it possible to lease your favourite two-wheeler after all!
When you pay a personal contribution to o2o, the total amount of the lease price is reduced by this contribution, which also lowers the monthly rental price. This personal contribution is a one-off cost.
All other parameters for calculating the rental price remain the same. For example, the insured value remains equal to the original value of the chosen bicycle and accessories.
This personal contribution is not refunded in the event of theft or total loss due to damage. If you take over the bicycle at the end of your lease contract, you pay 16% or 20% of the original catalogue price of the bicycle and accompanying items (more information can be found in the Bicycle Policy).
