There are several possibilities. What you choose as an employer also depends on the joint committee your employees are part of. We list the options briefly:
- Gross salary exchange is often the most chosen (and simplest) option. Your employee pays the rent of the bicycle monthly with a part of the gross salary. There is also the option of a cafeteria plan, which is often chosen by public administrations. A cafeteria plan allows employees to convert a part of their gross salary to other, less taxed benefits such as bicycle leasing.
- Another possibility is to use the end-of-year bonus to finance the lease bicycle. Holidays or bonuses can also be exchanged.
- Finally, there is also the mobility budget where your employees can spend this amount on a sustainable mobility solution ... such as a bicycle.
